Literatur
Aufgrund der Abgabe von Pflichtexemplaren von Tirolensien befinden sich zahlreiche literarische Werke in den Beständen der Universitäts- und Landesbibliothek Tirol. Im Rahmen von EODOPEN wurden schwerpunktmäßig einige Autor:innen ausgewählt (u. a. Maria von Buol und Paul Busson) und deren Gesamtwerk möglichst vollständig digitalisiert. Darüber hinaus kamen einige Werke von Tiroler Literat:innen (u. a. Maria Bossi-Fedrigotti, Rudolf Brix, Reimmichl) anlässlich des „Public Domain Day“ am 1. Januar des jeweiligen Jahres in die EODOPEN-Sammlung.
Der Fokus Literatur von ca. 1900 bis 1950 ist ein Spiegel des literarischen Betriebs in Tirol bzw. Tirol in seinen historischen Grenzen und zeichnet über die heutigen Regionen Nord-, Ost- und Südtirol sowohl Lebenswege als auch Lebenswelten in Zeiten großer kultureller und politischer Veränderungen nach. Die ausgewählten Autor:innen sind nicht repräsentativ für die gesamte literarische Produktion in Tirol dieser Zeit. Dennoch geben die Werke einen Eindruck über die Vielfalt der Themen und Genres.
Da die Urheberrechte für Werke von ca. 1950 bis zu Beginn des 21. Jahrhunderts in der Projektlaufzeit von EODOPEN nicht auf breiter Basis zu klären waren, klafft bis auf wenige Ausnahmen eine digitale Lücke im Bereich Tiroler Literatur. Auf die Einbindung von Autor:innen des 21. Jahrhunderts, die der Online-Veröffentlichung ihrer Werke selbst zugestimmt haben und die ebenfalls Teil der EODOPEN-Sammlung der Universität Innsbruck sind, wurde bei der Konzeption der Ausstellung bewusst verzichtet, um mit den Autor:innen des frühen 20. Jahrhunderts ein homogenes Bild einer bestimmten Epoche darzustellen.
Due to the submission of obligatory copies of Tyrolean works, there are numerous literary works in the holdings of the University and Provincial Library of Tyrol. As part of EODOPEN, a number of authors were selected (including Maria von Buol and Paul Busson) and their works were digitized as completely as possible. In addition, some works by Tyrolean writers (including Maria Bossi-Fedrigotti, Rudolf Brix, Reimmichl) were added to the EODOPEN collection on the occasion of "Public Domain Day" on January 1 of the respective year.
The focus on literature from around 1900 to 1950 is a reflection of literary activity in Tyrol and Tyrol within its historical borders and traces both life paths and living environments in times of major cultural and political change across the current regions of North, East and South Tyrol. The authors selected are not representative of the entire literary production in Tyrol during this period. Nevertheless, the works give an impression of the diversity of topics and genres.
As the copyrights for works from around 1950 to the beginning of the 21st century could not be clarified on a broad basis during the EODOPEN project period, there is a digital gap in the area of Tyrolean literature, with a few exceptions. The inclusion of authors from the 21st century, who have agreed to the online publication of their works themselves and who are also part of the EODOPEN collection at the University of Innsbruck, was deliberately omitted from the conception of the exhibition in order to present a homogeneous picture of a specific epoch with the authors of the early 20th century.
