EODOPEN

Das EODOPEN-Projekt wurde im Programm Creative Europe gefördert und vereinte 15 Partner-Bibliotheken aus 11 europäischen Ländern. Die fünfjährige Laufzeit des Projekts wurde mit Oktober 2024 beendet. Ziel war die Digitalisierung von bisher verborgenen Bibliotheksbeständen, vorrangig des 20. und 21. Jahrhunderts. Jeder Partner machte 1000 Werke online verfügbar. Im Portal diglib.eodopen.eu sind die Projektergebnisse abrufbar.

Die EODOPEN-Ausstellung der Universitäts- und Landesbibliothek Tirol zeigt eine Auswahl der im Projekt digitalisierten Werke. Da ein großer Sammlungsschwerpunkt der Bibliothek im Bereich Tirolensien liegt, wurden vorrangig Werke aus diesem Spektrum ausgewählt. Die Bereiche Literatur, Alpinismus und Landeskunde geben vertiefende Einblicke in einige Themengebiete. Der Bereich Musikalien setzt sich ausschließlich aus einer Sammlung des ehemaligen Notenarchivs des ORF Tirol zusammen und enthält nicht unbedingt Werke von Tiroler Komponist:innen.

The EODOPEN project was funded by the Creative Europe programme and brought together 15 partner libraries from 11 European countries. The five-year project ended in October 2024. The aim was to digitise previously hidden library collections, primarily from the 20th and 21st centuries. Each partner made 1000 works available online, and the project results can be accessed on the joint portal diglib.eodopen.eu.

The EODOPEN exhibition at the University and Provincial Library of Tyrol shows a selection of the works digitized in the project. As a major focus of the library's collection lies in the area of Tyrolean history, works from this spectrum were selected as a priority. The areas of literature, alpinism and regional studies provide in-depth insights into some subject areas. The music section consists exclusively of a collection from the former sheet music archive of ORF Tirol and does not necessarily contain works by Tyrolean composers.
